Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

RIM (Rolux Interface Module), referred to as “RIM,” “we,” or “us,” is a hotel-management tool built for hotel operators inside the Roblox game Welcome to Bloxburg. By creating an account or otherwise using RIM, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RIM is an independent, fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, the creators of Welcome to Bloxburg, Discord Inc., or Google LLC.

2. Eligibility

RIM is intended for use by Roblox players who manage or work at in-game hotels. You must be able to lawfully agree to these Terms and must comply with Roblox’s own‎ Terms of Use ‎and‎ Community Standards ‎while playing the underlying game. RIM does not knowingly collect information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, and account creation requires authentication through a third-party provider (Google or Discord) subject to that provider’s own age requirements.

3. Accounts & Authentication

You sign in to RIM using Google or Discord OAuth. You are responsible for safeguarding access to those accounts. RIM enforces one RIM account per person via a unique constraint on your Discord ID; attempting to create multiple accounts to evade moderation, role limits, or hotel bans is a violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or deactivate your account at our discretion if we believe these Terms have been violated, without erasing historical records tied to your account, since hotel session history and audit trails must remain intact for other users and hotel owners.

4. Roles & Hotel Data

RIM is organized around “hotels” created by Owners. Owners may invite other users as Staff or Managers. Each hotel owner is responsible for the accuracy of room, pricing, and facility data they configure, and for the conduct of staff they invite. RIM is not a party to, and assumes no responsibility for, any in-game agreement, dispute, or transaction between hotel operators and their guests.

All in-game currency values shown in RIM (room prices, menu prices, discounts) are entered by hotel Owners/Managers and exist for organizational purposes only. RIM does not process real payments, real money, or Robux at any point.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limiting, or role-based permissions.
• Probe, scan, or attack RIM's infrastructure, including attempting SQL injection, XSS, or other exploitation techniques.
• Use automated tools to scrape or flood RIM's API endpoints.
• Impersonate another player, hotel, or staff member.
• Use RIM to harass, defraud, or abuse other Roblox players.
• Interfere with another user's or hotel's data, sessions, or bookings without authorization.

Violations may result in suspension of your account, removal from a hotel, or a permanent ban from RIM, at our discretion.

6. Audit Logging

For security and accountability, RIM maintains an append-only audit log of actions taken by Owners, Managers, and Staff (e.g. booking creation, price changes, role changes). Hotel Owners and the RIM administrator can view audit logs for their own hotel(s). Audit logs cannot be edited or deleted by any user, including the actor who generated them.

7. Availability & No Warranty

RIM is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that RIM will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. RIM may experience downtime, especially during periods of high load.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RIM and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, in-game progress, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use RIM.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of RIM after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using RIM at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to RIM, other users, or third parties.
